Tue, 30 May 2006 Kevin and Alanna are on a get-away into the Colorado Rockies, staying at a friend's condo in Frisco enjoying the cooler temperatrues and beautiful scenery. Trying to take an Al Gore-inspired ecological trip into Breckenridge left them all wet, but they'll be back to take the bus another day, and the new blue streaks in her hair didn't wash away.
Alanna's latest trip was to both Bogota, Colombia and NYC and she tells all about it. Highlights of NYC are nearly getting in an accident while in a cab and trying to walk away from the angry cabbie, the Apple Store opening, but, of course, the biggest thing is the new Jivamukti Yoga School that had its grand opening party.
Our dear Ozzie friend Sarah now has a beautiful tattoo, but is still having trouble getting a visa to come visit us in the states for a year, so we're asking for any listener advice.
Finally, we don't sing a song at the end.Comments[1] |
Hi,
I forgot what your email was and I couldn't seem to find it, so I thought i would leave you a comment. Didn't want your inbox to lie empty!
I was wondering if you ever read the book "The Fairy Rebel" when you were a kid, because the character in the book had a patch of 25 blue hairs, and I've always loved that book. i thought maybe you had inspiration from that book.
Anyway, I am going to take a look at the Visa situation and see what I can find out. I know a lot of people here (Japan) from Australia, maybe they will know something. But I have to tell ya, it isn't very easy to get a visa from the US, it took me a good 3 months to get mine to come to Japan!! Anyway, love listening to both your podcasts!!
